Douglas Bond is a professional writer and author of thirty-one books and numerous articles and scripts. He started pounding nails with his engineer/PhD father when he was six. He designed and built his first spec house when he was nineteen, and paid his way through college working for a high-end, custom-home contractor. Since then he’s renovated numerous old house projects and built several more new houses, including three new tiny houses on his family farm in western Washington, and a large tiny house for his octogenarian mother.
